255452 Pte. Archibald Taylor British Army 2nd Battalion Seaforth Highlanders from:Rothes (d.18th April 1918) Archibald Taylor served with the 2nd Battalion of the Seaforth Highlanders. He enlisted in Elgin on the 27th April, ten days after the birth of his son Archie (who was himself killed in Action in 1944), and he was killed two years later, on 18th April 1918, probably in an intense action defending against an attack on a canal.
