255325 L/Cpl. John Albert Hollingsworth British Army 2/8th Btn. Lancashire Fusiliers My granddad John Hollingsworth was in the 2/8th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. He was captured on the 21st of March 1918 near to the town of Roisel in France on the front line and was sent to Munster II PoW camp in Germany. He survived the war and returned to Salford in Lancashire and lived with his wife Georgina until his death in 1971.
