Sgt. James Maxwell
British Army 1st Btn. Royal Irish Rifles
from:162 Matilda Street, Belfast
James Maxwell fought in the Battle of Neuve Chapelle and was wounded on 13th of March 1915.
Not known where he served after that, however he was a career soldier. He received the 1914 Star for service in between 5th of August and 22nd of November 1914.
If he fought after being injured, he survived to marry in 1920 and raise a family.
James passed in 1952
