250668 Pte. Edward Douglas Wheildon British Army 14th (London Scottish) Btn. London Regiment from:Finsbury Park, London (d.5th April 1917) Edward Wheildon is my Great Uncle Teddy, the brother of my grandmother. He was 19 when he was killed in action. She never mentioned him, the trauma of his loss was too much. He was a constant presence in the family while I was growing up. I thank him for his sacrifice and may he rest in peace.
