250621 L/Sgt. William. Fishlock British Army 5th Battalion Wiltshire Regiment from:Avebury, Wiltshire (d.20th Aug 1916) Bill Fishlock came from Avebury, Wiltshire. He died from Dysentery in Hospital in India. He is buried in the Commonwealth war cemetery at Kirkee India. He left behind a wife, Gertrude and five children, who went to live with his brother and his wife's family at Cullys farm Oare. My grand father already had eight children. At the time of writing (Aug 2018) one of his children, Gerty, is still with us.
