248950 L/Cpl. William Frank Tuck British Army 10th Btn. Gloucestershire Regiment (d.9th September 1916) William Tuck was the son of Charles and Amelia Jane Tuck of Lock House, Cerney Locks, South Cerney, Cirencester, Glos. He lied about his age and enlisted with the 10th Gloucestershire Regiment where he was sent to the Western front and was killed in action on 9th of September 1916 at the age of just 17. He has no known grave just his name on his local memorial in South Cerney, Glos and that on Thiepval WW1 memorial in France.
