248225 Pte. Stanley Victor Osman British Army 2nd Btn. Northamptonshire Regiment from:Ilford, Essex Understandably Stanley Osman never talked about his experiences. All I know is that he was shot in the elbow (somewhere in the Somme area), and was in the 4th London General Hospital from 30th April 1918 to 1st August 1918. The war diaries only state over 200 casualties in a four-day period. I still have an embroidered table runner made as part of his therapy.
