248098 L/Cpl. Samuel Edmond Wild British Army 1st Btn. A Coy. Leicestershire Regiment from:Homerton, London (d.15th Sept 1916) Samuel Wild is my granddad's brother, he was too young to join the army so used the name William Wells. He died on the Somme trying to help a friend who had become entangled in the barbed wire. I am visiting France and the Somme this year.
