L/Cpl. John William Currie Glen
British Army 8th Btn. Border Regiment
My Grandfather John Glen, first enlisted with the Royal Flying Corps, later transferred to the Royal West Kent Regiment and finally transferred to the 8th Battalion, Border Regiment on 22 April 1918.
He was captured on the 27th May 1918 at Chemens de Dames (Third battle of the River Aisne). He was later held at Crossen POW camp near Brandenburg until his release at the end of the War. I have only recently discovered this.
