246245 L/Cpl. Frederick Tyers British Army 1/5th Btn. Leicestershire Regiment (d.24th September 1918) Lance Corporal Frederick Tyers was the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Tyers of 5 Barnby Cottages, Newark, Notts. He served with the 1/5th Battalion Leicestershire Regiment and was killed in action aged 25 years on 24th September 1918 during the Battle of Pontruet. He is buried in Bellicourt British cemetery, France.
