245843 Pte. John Richard Hepworth British Army 8th Btn. Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (d.16th August 1917) Private John Richard Hepworth, son of Mr. & Mrs. G. Hepworth, 1 Neotsbury Road, Ampthill, Bedfordshire. Enlisted at Warwick with 8th Battalion, Inniskilling Fusiliers (service no.41764). He was killed in action on 16th August 1917 aged 20 years and is commemorated at Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium. He is remembered on both The War Memorial and The Alamada, St. Andrews Church, Ampthill.
