245836 Pte. George William Gee British Army 11th Btn. Royal West Kent Regiment from:Ampthill (d.7th October 1916) Private George William Gee, born in Ampthill, Bedfordshire and enlisted in Bedford. Served with the 11th Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment (service no.G18345). He was killed in action on 7th October 1916 in France and Flanders and is buried in Warlencourt British Cemetery, France. He is remembered on both The War Memorial and The Alamada, St. Andrews Church, Ampthill.
