Frederick Cleak of 74th Company Machine Gun Corps was killed in action on 2nd September 1918, age 28 and is buried in Peronne Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
He was the son of George and Emily Cleak of Deptford, London and husband of Adelaide Cleak of Milledge Street, Rotherhithe, London. He left a son Federick Cleak and daughters Adelaide and Ivy.
He had enlisted in Camberwell and served formerly in the Kings Royal Rifle Corps.
