245203 George Tindall British Army Royal Artillery from:Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire Not much is known about my grandfather George Tindall's WW1 service other than photos in his uniform. He was born in Ryhill, West Yorkshire on the 2 July 1894. He did, however, live in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire for most of his life. My Grandfather survived WW1 but was severely injured in an explosion down the pit in the twenties. He was blind for the rest of his life! He died in 1974 at the age of 80.
