242804 Pte. Robert John Chalker British Army 6th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment from:Princess Park, Liverpool (d.13th June 1917) Originally from Staffordshire, Robert Chalker was a field medic attached to the Regimental Field Ambulance Service of the 6th Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment. He was killed during the battle of Messines Ridge in June 1917. No further details of the incident in which he died have yet come to light. Robert was married with a 2-year old daughter at the time of his death.
