239101 Gnr. James Wright British Army 113 Heavy Battery Royal Garrison Artillery from:Roslin, Scotland (d.27th Feb 1919) James Wright was my great uncle. I know very little about him and would love to know more. He joined the Royal Garrison Artilery in 1915, and caught Malaria somewhere. He married in January 1918. He survived the war and came home to Scotland very ill during Christmas 1918. He went back to rejoin his unit at Maroilles, France in January 1919, but was taken by a French ambulance to Fourmies where he died. He is buried in Fourmies Community Cemetry.
