John O'Donohue was also known as Pte. John Donohue was the son of John and Catherine O'Donohue, of Camas Riad, Cashel, Co. Tipperary. He served in the South African Campaign and on the North West Frontier of India.
He was aged 52 when he died and is buried in the North-West angle of the Cathedral in the Cashel (Rock of Cashel) Graveyard in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.
