233799 Pte. Henry Rivers Burr British Army 2nd Btn. Royal Sussex Regiment from:Leigh on Sea, Essex (d.18th Oct 1918) Harry Burr is said to have joined up before he was of eligible age. Possibly in 1916. Sadly, he was killed in action in Belgium just before the end of the war. There is also an article in the local newspaper saying that at some stage he was taken prisoner but managed to escape. I am still searching for the details of this.
