227744 Sgt. Claude Bradshaw MM British Army 2/5th Btn. Leicestershire Regiment My grandfather never talked of his war-time experiences. We know that he had been subjected to mustard gas attacks. He never told us of the events leading to his being awarded the Military Medal (but citations are not hard to find. He was finally discharged on 9th January 1918 as unfit for further Army duties. We are every proud of him - his service, courage, bravery and the ongoing battles he may have fought personally afterwards.
