227680 Cpl. Albert Williams British Army 6th Btn. South Wales Borderers from:Abercarn My great grandfather left for war leaving a pregnant wife behind (carrying my grandfather). He never returned and never met his baby boy. All we know is his name, Albert Williams and that he was a Corporal in the 6th Battalion South Wales Borderers at the time of my grandfather's birth (12/8/1915). Great grandmother never talked of her husband, so we know nothing about him.
