Bernard Digby Johns of the Royal Welch Fusiliers was killed in action in Belgium, on the 17th of February 1916, Aged 21.
He was a step-brother of Charles and Claud French. The son of Honoria French (formerly Johns) of 3 Sion Hill, Clifton, Bristol, and the late A. D. Johns. Gazetted in Sept., 1914, Bernard had been a History Scholar at Oriel College, Oxford.
