224114 Pte. Frank Nott British Army 4th Btn Worcester Regiment from:Birmingham (d.4th June 1915) Frank Nott was my great uncle, he was killed during the 3rd battle for Krithia on 4th June 1915. This year, whilst doing some political campaigning near where I lived with my mother and father in Bridgend, I was given a Bronze death plaque with Frank Nott's name inscribed on it. Apparently a neighbour found it whilst working in his garden which backed on to the garden of my old home. How much of a coincidence is this? After watching the 100 year anniversary ceremony on television that morning, then being given the 'Death Plaque' the same afternoon is truly amazing.
