223640 Gnr. Frederick Baron British Army 210 Bde, B Bty Royal Field Artillery from:48 Clarence Street, Burnley, Lancashire (d.18th Nov 1917) Gunner Baron died of dysentery, aged 24. He is buried in the Deir el Belah War Cemetery in Palestine. He was the husband of Mrs Baron nee Mc Dermott and lived at 48 Clarence Street, Burnley, Lancashire Additional Information: He was my Grandfather who never saw his daughter (my mother) May. He served from the very beginning of WW1 both in Egypt and Gallipoli. We live on (my sister and brother) thanks to him.
