Pte. Edward Sighe
British Army 1/5th Btn King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment)

Edward Sighe enlisted in 1914 with the Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regiment 8th Bn then transferred to the 1/5 Bn. He left behind a son and daughter that he barely knew.
He wasn't hit or wounded until 10th March 1917 when he was killed. Not sure where but the date was the same time as the occupation of Blakeley Crater he died of his wounds at age 33 he is buried at Poperinghe New Military Cemetery.
