Alfred Ratcliffe died as a Prisoner of War on 14th October 1918, aged 19. Buried in the Niederzwehren Cemetery in Germany, he was the son of Mrs. M. Ratcliffe, of 22, Aqueduct St., Burnley, Lancashire.
