221881 Pte. William John Lathlan British Army 34th Machine Gun Corps (d.11th Jan 1917) My mum is the great niece of Private William John Lathane. She learned his story and that of her great aunt, his wife, from his sister-in-law, but her family were reluctant to talk about the war, understandably. All she has handed down to her was his dog tag, but she has always been interested in the family history, and we have found some information, any more would be great.
