220799 Pte. William A Ball from:32 Digby Road, Hackney The only surviving member of the Ball family is my mother. She is 93, and longs for some information of how her brother William Ball died. He enlisted into the army whilst underage, took the King's shilling, as my mother told me. He was killed in action in 1915, but no details were ever given or belongings sent home.
