Gunner Thomas Harcus served with 95th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery during WW1 and was killed in action on the 3rd August 1917, aged 32. He is buried in Vlamertinghe New Military Cemetery in Belgium.
Husband of Ellen Rendall, he left two children and was a native of Westray, Orkney
