Clement Baker was born in Malahide, County Dublin, at the time of his enlistment he lived in Saint-Louis de ÂPoissy, France. He enlisted in Southampton, Hampshire. Before joining the Royal Engineers he was 261463, Royal Field Artillery. He died at home from wounds, and is buried in South Shoebury (St. Andrew) Churchyard, Essex.
