Second Lieutenant Albert Erskine Carson Archer served with the Royal West Kent Regiment (the Buffs) and later with the Royal Flying Corps. He died in France age 19 on the 9th February 1916 and is buried in Longuenesse (St. Omer) Souvenir Cemetery.
Albert was born in Beanfield, Stillorgan, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, the son of Thomas and Emily M. Archer, of Airfield, Donnybrook, Dublin.
