Mervyn Anderson was the son of James and Olive Anderson, of 28, Clarinda Park East, Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
He served with the Royal Irish Regiment 2nd Battalion and died of wounds in May 1915 aged 23. He is commemorated at Brentford, Orwell Park, Rathgar, Dublin and Rathgar Presbyterian Church.
