John Lemon Liunberg British Army 6th Battalion, Z Company King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry (d.10th Apr 1917) John Liunberg died aged 37, he was born in North Shields in 1879, son of Peter and Mary Jane Liunberg (nee Lemon). In the 1911 Census he is listed as John Lemon Liunberg, age 31, a Ship's Painter, living with his wife Sarah Jane Liunberg (Clark) & their children at 73, Stephenson Street, Wellington Quay. He enlisted in Jarrow. John is remembered on the Arras Memorial and is commemorated on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow.
