Gunner Robert Joseph Turnbull

Robert Turnbull died aged 38, he was born in Saltwell, Gateshead in 1880. In the 1911 Census, he is listed as Robert Joseph Turnbull, age 31, a Boiler Maker's Labourer, living with his first wife Charlotte Turnbull (Nee Hamilton) & a son at 2, York Street, Jarrow. He was later husband of Mary Jane Turnbull (nee Storar) of 6 Hurworth Place Jarrow.
Robert enlisted in Jarrow.
He is buried in Sunken Road Cemetery. Boisleux-St. Marc and is commemorated on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow.
