Ernest Tripcony British Army 12th Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment (d.3rd May 1917) Ernest Tripcony died aged 35 whilst serving with the 12th Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, he had formerly served with the Royal Field Artillery. In the 1911 Census Ernest Tripcony, age 29, a Watch, Clock & Jewellery Repairer, is listed as living with his wife Margaret Georgina Tripcony (nee Walton) & his family at 79, Howard Street, Jarrow-on-Tyne. He was born in Selsey Bill, Sussex. Ernest is remembered on the Arras Memorial and is commemorated on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow.
