216171 Able Sea. Raymond Cyril Short Mercantile Marine HMHS Llandovery Castle (d.27th Jun 1918) Raymond Short died ages 28, he was born in Jarrow in 1890, the son of Thomas and Emma Currall Short. On the 1911 Census, Raymond Cyril Short, age 21, a Seaman in the Merchant Service, is recorded as living with his Mother Emma Currall Osbourne (formerly Short, nee Clay) & his Stepfather Edmund Osbourne & his sister at 22, Bols Street, Warrington.
