Pte. Martin Jennings

Martin Jennings was serving with the 4th Battalion Coldstream Guards and was aged 40 when he died on 29th October 1914.
Born in Jarrow 1874, he was the son of John and Ann Jennings.
Martin Jennings age 37 Blast Furnace Labourer in Shipyard is with his parents John and Ann Jennings and family at 29 Albion Street, Jarrow on the 1911 census.
Martin is buried in Perth Cemetery (China Wall).
He is commemorated on the Palmer Cenotaph (west face) Jarrow and on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow.
