Andrew Henderson was 28 when he died. Born in Jarrow in 1890, he was the son of Andrew and Mary A. Henderson (nee Boyle) of 57 Monkton Road Jarrow. Andrew Henderson age 23 Labourer in Steelworks is with his parents Andrew and Mary A. Henderson at 19 Cambrian Street, Jarrow on the 1911 census.
He enlisted at Newcastle.
Andrew is buried in Gonnehem British Cemetery.
He is commemorated on the Palmer Cenotaph (plaque on west face) Jarrow and on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow.
