213548 Pte. Alfred John Lightfoot British Army Cheshire Regiment Royal Army Ordnance Corps from:Wrexham Alfred Lightfoot was my husband's father. He is known to have fought in France but unfortunately his war record cannot be found. It was probably one of the many which were destroyed. He said very little about his experience but it is believed he was gassed and hospitalised in Rouen. He survived the war.
