John Henry Iveson British Army 1/6th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment from:Langley Park, Co Durham My grandfather, John Iveson (Private 242750), was 22 years old when he enlisted on 9th Nov 1915. Sometime during his service in France he was shot through the knee and his pay book (which we still have) and was taken prisoner by the Germans (trying to locate where).
