211177 Pte. Walter Oldershaw British Army 4th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders from:Leicester My grandfather, Walter Oldershaw, enlisted in 1915 at the age of 38 years old. He was sent to France to the front, where I don't know. He was wounded and then transferred to the Labour Corp. What did the Labour Corp do? Where did they operate? He remained in France until, I think, 1919. He died in 1941 I was 2 years old.
