206257 Pte. Robert William Platt British Army Royal Field Artillery from:Limehouse , London I am trying to search some history on my Grandad R W Platt who, I believe, was aged about 15/16 upon joining the Army (possibly Royal Artillary) and would appreciate any information or assistance. I was told that he was awarded a Medal for capturing and taking several German prisoners alive and back to Allied lines during some stage of the battle .
