2013 Thomas McCabe British Army Royal Irish Fusiliers from:7 High Street, Bessbrook, Newry, Co Down, Northern Ireland My grandfather, Thomas McCabe, served with the Royal Irish Fusiliers during WW1. Unfortunately, I have no idea of the battalion he served with or the date he signed up or left. I believe he was wounded in the leg during his time served. His parents were James & Mary McCabe and he may or may not have been married to Sarah McConville during the time he was serving. Any information anyone can give me would be much appreciated.
