143560 Cpl. James Carrigan M.M. British Army 10th Btn. Durham Light Infantry from:Sunderland (d.10th Oct 1917) I would like any information on the 10th battallion of the DLI.My grandfather was killed in France in 1917. His name appears on a tablet at the tynecot memorial cemetery.I would dearly love to find out the circumstances in which he was awarded the military medal.
