William Savill served with 18th Battery, 3rd Brigade, Royal Field Artillery during WW1. He died aged 22 on 21st June 1918, believed to have drowned with horses and is buried at Struma Military Cemetery, Salonika.
William was the eldest son of William and Sarah Savill of Woodford Green.
