Percy Stanbridge was born and lived in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, and enlisted Bedford. He served with 2nd Battalion Bedfordshire Regiment and was killed in action on 2nd August 1917 in Flanders. He has no known grave and is commemorated on Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium. He is remembered on both The War Memorial and The Alamada, St. Andrews Church, Ampthill.
