Pte. Charles William Garner

British Army 189th Coy. Machine Gun Corps

Charles Garner was the husband of Mrs Lucy Garner of Welton Hill, Lincoln. He initially enlisted with the Lincolnshire Regimentand then served with the 189th Company, Machine Gun Corps. He was killed in action on 27th of November 1917 aged 29 years. He has no known grave and is commemorated on Tyne Cot Memorial at Zonnebeke, in Belgium.
