Pte. Henry Gee

Henry was killed in action during the Arras offensive on the 9th April 1917. He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial. He is one of the hundreds who have not been remembered well and very little information about him has been recorded.

Additional Information:

Despite being in the Tyneside Irish, Henry was from a Newcastle family who had lived in the area since the 17th century. His branch of the Gee family ended with the death of his sister, Catherine Jane Gee, in 1983.
