Arthur Walker served with the 1st Middlesex and was decorated for his actions.

Award of DCM, citation: 33763 Pte. A. Walker, M.M., 1st Bn., Middx. Regt. (Ponders End). For most conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. On the night of 5th November, 1918, at Berlaimont, he as stretcher-bearer displayed great courage in evacuating wounded under very heavy fire.
