224007 Lt. Musgrave Maitland Webb British Army 16th (Queens Westminster Rifles) Battalion London Regiment from:34 Downleaze Street, Westbury on Trym, Gloucester (d.18th Sep 1916) I came across this young man, Musgrave Webb who was killed in action but I cannot find where he was killed. He was the youngest of a large family. His mother had been widowed before 1901. He was only 24. I do not have any photographs of him or of his family. Additional Information: | Musgrave Maitland Webb was killed in action near Boleaux Wood, on the Somme. After having been injured in an attack, he was subsequently killed in the battalion's own trench. He is buried in Combles Communal Cemetery Extension.
