Pte H. Smith was involved in the Battle to capture Solemes in October 1918.

Additional Information:

He took part in the Hundred Days Offensive 08 August to 11 November 1918. Started with the Battle of Amiens, Battle of the Somme, Advance to Hindenburg Line. Followed by: Pursuit to the Selle 09 Oct 1918, Battle of Courtrai 14 Oct 1918, Battle of Mont D'Origny 15 Oct 1918, Battle of the Selle 17 Oct 1918, Battle of Lys and Escaut 20 Oct 1918, Battle of the Serre 20 Oct 1918.

He was injured quarter of a mile south west of Solesmes on 23rd of October 1918. Evacuated to a clearing station and died 25th of Oct 1918.
